Background & Problem Statement

During the construction of independent foundation structures, the size of the foundation columns is typically large. As a result, the column formwork often lacks sufficient rigidity, causing corner deformation during concrete pouring. In severe cases, issues such as formwork bulging, instability, mold expansion, and slurry leakage may occur, directly compromising construction quality and structural integrity.

Traditional reinforcement methods rely heavily on steel pipes, wooden beams, and multi-directional bracing, which require considerable materials, increase labor intensity, reduce installation efficiency, and lead to higher construction costs. There is a clear need for a more efficient, stable, and cost-effective reinforcement solution.

Technical Implementation Concept

The objective of this invention is to provide a reinforcement device for independent foundation column formwork that effectively solves the deformation, instability, and leakage problems observed in conventional construction methods.

To achieve this, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

1. Overall Structure

The reinforcement device is mounted directly onto the outer surface of the foundation column formwork and is designed to tighten, stabilize, and secure the formwork throughout the concrete pouring process.
It primarily consists of:

(1) A Fixed Outer Frame

A structural component that attaches to the exterior corners of the formwork and provides the main support interface.

(2) A Tension Structure

A mechanical tightening system installed on the fixed outer frame, designed to apply controlled tension and enhance the connection between the frame and the formwork.

2. Fixed Outer Frame Design

• The fixed outer frame is ideally cross-shaped, providing a stable geometric configuration for formwork reinforcement.

• The inner side of the frame features a 90-degree angle, enabling precise corner alignment with the column formwork.

• A central connecting hole is integrated to allow the installation of tensioning components.

Mirror Arrangement

• Four fixed outer frames are used in total.

• They are arranged symmetrically around all four corners of the foundation column formwork.

• This layout reinforces the structure uniformly and prevents corner deformation during concrete pouring.

3. Tension Structure Design

The tension structure serves as the core tightening mechanism, ensuring the fixed outer frames maintain strong contact with the formwork.

It includes:

(1) Tie Bolt

• Installed through the connecting hole of the fixed outer frame.

• Provides adjustable tension to secure the formwork tightly.

(2) Connecting Nut

• Threaded onto the tie bolt.

• Ensures the tie bolt is locked into place and maintains stable tension.
